Robert E. 'Bob' Brock

      OSKALOOSA-Robert E. "Bob" Brock, 73, of Oskaloosa, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, at home.

      Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 10: 30 a.m., at Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa, with the Rev. Robert Dean officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Oskaloosa, with military rites accorded by the Oskaloosa American Legion and VFW. Visitation began this morning at the funeral home, and family will be present from 6 to 8 this evening. Memorials may be directed to Mahaska Hospice.

      Mr. Brock was born on Aug. 23, 1930, in Oskaloosa, to Guy and Iva (Morris) Brock. He was married for the first time on April 11, 1952, in Long Beach, Calif. On May 21, 1983, he married Donna Walters of Oskaloosa.
