Robert E. 'Turk' Conaway
CONESVILLE - Robert E. "Turk" Conaway, 84, of Conesville died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 in Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction.
A memorial gathering will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25 in the Conesville Community Center. Stacy Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.
Mr. Conaway was born Feb. 10, 1922 in Riverside, the son of Robert E. and Ima M. (Lauderdale) Conaway. He married Marcene Leona Harman on Nov. 1, 1945. They later divorced. He later married Dorothy F. Knowler on Sept. 17, 1955 in Muscatine.
