Robert Earl Southwick

KALONA ? Robert Earl Southwick, 88, of Kalona, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, in Pleasantview Home in Kalona.

    Celebration of life graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, at Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona, with military rites provided by Richmond AMVET Post No. 107. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Iowa City Hospice or Pleasantview Home.

    Mr. Southwick was born Sept. 25, 1922, in Kalona, the son of Leon and Fern (Grout) Southwick. He married Norma Rose Kos on Dec. 4, 1947.
