Robert F. "Bob" King, 80, of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at the Park Place Long Term Care Unit.

Visitation for Mr. King will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, beginning after 12 noon, at the Olson - Powell Memorial Chapel of Mt. Pleasant, where the family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Pat Youngquist and Rev. Jeannie Megorden officiating.

Burial, with full military rites by the Henry County Honor Guard, Dean King, commander, will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Memorials have been established to the First United Methodist Church or the Edd King Memorial Fountain.
