Robert G. Runyon

      Robert G. Runyon, 52, of rural Stockport, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Chem-Gro Shop in Hillsboro, with the Rev. Dave Doerr officiating. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery.

      Visitation began at 2 p.m. today at Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m.

      A memorial has been established to the the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Chemo Suites.

      Mr. Runyon was born Jan. 31, 1955, in Keosauqua, the son of William L. and Ruth Watson Runyon. He married Beverly Burkhalter Dec. 14, 1985, in Stockport.
