Robert J. Kisling

      Robert J. Kisling, 78, of Keosauqua, died at 7:10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      A service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial, with military rites by American Legion Beer-Barker Post, will be in Miller Chapel Cemetery, northeast of Keosauqua.

      Open visitation began at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, where family will be present from 7-8 p.m.

      Memorials to Keosauqua Senior Center may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 7806 River Road, Ottumwa 52501.

      Mr. Kisling was born Nov. 20, 1929, in rural Keosauqua, the son of Roy and Evelyn Brown Kisling. He married Mary M. Champ June 20, 1954, in Fairfield. She preceded him in death.
