Robert L. Ayers
KALONA - Robert L. Ayers, 71, of North English, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, with the Rev. Lynn Patrick officiating. Burial will take place in Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, with the family present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. A general memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Ayers was born March 18, 1932, to Floyd E. and Ruth (Long) Ayers, in Washington. He married Alice Moore, and later married Sandra Loeffler.
