Robert L. Smith, 65, of West Plains, Mo.
MT. PLEASANT - Robert L. Smith, 65, of West Plains, Mo., and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, at the Great River Medical Center in Burlington.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Jeff Crawford officiating. Burial with military rites will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 15, at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation and the United Freewill Baptist Church of West Plains.
