Robert Roland Richards

      Robert Roland Richards, 70, of Washington, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, in Sunrise Terrace Nursing Home in Winfield following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Darryl Carr officiating. Burial will be in the Crawfordsville Cemetery in Crawfordsville. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday where the family will receive friends. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Washington.

      Mr. Richards was born Feb. 15, 1938 in Washington County, the son of William and Nellie (Smith) Richards.
