Robert S. 'Digger' Truax

      Robert S. "Digger" Truax, 71, of Washington, died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Washington County Hospital, following failing health.

      Celebration of Life services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ed O'Melia officiating. Interment, with military honors accorded, will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from noon until services begin. A memorial has been established for Hospice of Washington County.

      Mr. Truax was born Sept. 12, 1933, in Washington, to Guy and Gertrude (Nolan) Truax. On Jan. 26, 1957, he married Rose M. Morgan in Washington.
