Robert Sobaski Sr.

      Robert Sobaski, Sr. (RC), 85, of Richland passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa. He was born May 10, 1922 to Anthony and Lena Bechen Sobaski at Lake Andes, SD.

      Robert married Eleanor Adam on June 6, 1944 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Clear Creek, IA.

      A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, February 18, 2008, at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Fladung, Rev. Bob Streigel and Rev. Charles Adam officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery. Visitation at the church will open at 3:00 PM with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 PM followed by Prayers for a Christian Wake held at 7:00 PM Sunday Evening, February 17, 2008. Memorials for Hospice of Iowa, Lion's Club International or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundations may be left at the church or mailed to the family at 33282 320th Avenue, Richland, IA 52585. Gould Funeral Home of Richland is in charge of arrangements.
