Robert W. Fillmore

      BURLINGTON-Robert W. Fillmore, 81, of Burlington, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

      Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, in First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Burlington, with the Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Friends may call Monday from noon until 8 p.m. in Lunning Chapel in Burlington, and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Memorials have been established for First Christian Church and the Eagles Diabetes Fund.

      Mr. Fillmore was born April 8, 1925, to Ralph W. and Sadie (Welsh) Fillmore in Rochester, Minn. He married Helen Schooley on June 9, 1946, in Brighton.
