Robert Walsh

RIVERSIDE ? Robert Charles Walsh, 73, of West Branch, formerly of Riverside, died Sunday, March 13, 2011, at his home following a battle with cancer.

    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 17, at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery with full military rites provided by the Riverside VFW Post 6414. After the committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at St. Mary?s Parish Center. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside, where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established.

    Mr. Walsh was born Feb. 4, 1938, in Riverside, the son of Bernard and Velma (Thomann) Walsh. He married Joan Elaine Krause on Nov. 23, 1963, in San Jose, Calif.
