Roberta "Bobbie" Joan Garrison, 55, of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa.

Per her request, she has been cremated. Celebration

of Life gathering will be

1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, at VFW of Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to either Brandon or Amber to contribute to their pursuit of advanced degrees. Cards and memorials may be mailed to Amber Garrison, 2132 Fir Ave., Batavia, IA 52533.

Bobbie was born June 6, 1964, in Springfield, Ill., to Ted and Georgie (Starling) Pietrzak.

Bobbie loved collecting elephants, they reflected her kindness and gentleness well. Bobbie was a caring and compassionate person; she was a caretaker in both nature and profession. Bobbie loved her children and was proud of them.

Bobbie will be missed by her children, Amber Garrison of Lansing, Mich., and Brandon (April) Garrison of Ames; four sisters, Lori Strayer, Pam Klyber, Kathy Grant and Mindy Sheese, as well as her ex-husband, David Garrison.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
