Roberta Ruth Teeter

      Roberta Ruth Teeter, 85, of Gravois Mills, Mo., formerly of Fairfield, died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at Laurie Care Center in Laurie, Mo.

      A graveside service and interment will be at 1 p.m, Friday at the Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, with the Rev. Edward Parker officiating.

            Arrangements are in the care of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles, Mo.

      Mrs. Teeter was born March 15, 1922, in Douds, the daughter of Robert and May Roush Evans. She married Francis E. Canny March 22, 1941. He was killed in the Battle of Normandy. She married Gerald "Shorty" M. Teeter March 20, 1946. He died Dec. 21, 1991.
