Rodney Rea Greiner, 78,

of Missoula, Mont., passed away Oct. 30, 2020.

Rodney was born Oct. 22, 1942, in Revere, Mo., to Joseph and Treva (Philips) Greiner. He married Lois Sparks. They later divorced. Hee married Valerie (Veatch) Greiner on Sept. 26, 1974. Ron attended Fairfield Community Schools.

Ron lived most of his life

in Montana. He worked as an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed camping, boating, driving a truck, spending time with family, watching westerns and the Grand Ole Opry.

Ron is survived by his wife, Val; two kids, Karen (Joe) Brown of Keosauqua and Bob (Dawn) Greiner of Ottumwa; four brothers, Kenneth (Donna) Greiner of Brighton, Steve (Sheryl) Greiner of Fairfield, Tom (Deb) Greiner of Lockridge and John (Lynne) Greiner of Boone; seven grandkids; eight great-grandkids; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Treva Greiner; two sons, Jeff and Jerry Greiner; and one great-grandson. Bryce Tucker.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Batavia Community Center with Kerry "Archie" Philips officiating.
