Roger C. Schenk May 12, 1943 - January 2, 2004

Roger Craig Schenk, 60, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Friday evening, Jan. 2, 2004 at the Great River Medical Center in Burlington.

      The graveside service was at 11 a.m. today at the Forest Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. A memorial has been established. Beatty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a son, Robert Schenk of Florida; four daughters, Lisa Connelly of Oregon, Tamie Myers and Angela Drain, both of Michigan, and Tina Looney of Mississippi; three brothers, Larry and his wife Judy Schenk and Jim and his wife Barbara Schenk, all of Mt. Pleasant, Robert and his wife Mary Joe Schenk of Rockton, Ill., a sister, Bonnie and her husband Jack Thomas of New London; and 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents.
