Roger D. Howe, 79, of Columbus Junction, Iowa, died Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City following a sudden illness.

Celebration of Life will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2022, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with Pastor Jason Collier officiating. Calling hours will begin 12:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Columbus City Cemetery in Columbus City, Iowa. A memorial has been established in memory of Roger at the Adams County Illinois County Fair for the Equine Department. A full obituary will appear in Monday’s edition of the Southeast Iowa Union.
