Roger M. Farmer

Roger M. Farmer, 84, of Fairfield died after failing health at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006, at Parkview Care Center.

      The funeral is set for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield with military rites.

      Family visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Marlene Wyatt, 2020 Libertyville Road, Fairfield 52556.

      Mr. Farmer was born March 15, 1921, in Batavia, the son of George Washington and Ruth Madge Sutherlin McCleary Farmer. He married Florence Leafgreen March 3, 1949, in Hiawatha, Kan.
