Roger N. Aronhalt

      Roger N. Aronhalt, 82, of Mount Pleasant, died Friday, July 4, 2008, at Arbor Court in Mount Pleasant.

      A service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Don Coffin officiating. Burial will be in Cambrian Cemetery near Columbus Junction, with military rites provided by the Winfield American Legion Post No. 645.

      Visitation began at 1 p.m. today at the memorial chapel, where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m.

      Memorials have been established to the Salem Fire Department and Cambrian Cemetery.

      Mr. Aronhalt was born March 24, 1926, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Ralph N. and Beulah C. Richie Aronhalt. He married Margaret Louise Humphreys Sept. 17, 1955, at Salem Presbyterian Church in rural Columbus Junction.
