Roland O. Underwood

Roland O. Underwood, 86, of Winfield, died Thursday, Oct. 30, at Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.

A Masonic service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, at Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, followed by visitation until 4 p.m. with family present. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at Winfield United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Nancy Bender officiating. Interment will follow at Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery, with military flag presentation provided.

A memorial has been established for the Winfield United Methodist Church.

He was born March 31, 1922, near Columbus Junction, the son of G. Richard and Grace Orris Underwood. On June 30, 1947, he married Betty L. Cummings in Winfield.
