Rolland M. Yoder

      KALONA - Rolland M. Yoder, 91, of Kalona, died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a brief illness.

      Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 31, at Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in rural Kalona. Burial will be in Lower Deer Creek Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, with the family present from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Pleasantview Home Alzheimer's Unit.

      Mr. Yoder was born on July 18, 1913, in Kansas, to Levi M. and Tillie (Yoder) Yoder. On Dec. 11, 1938, he married Cordell Swartzendruber in Kalona.
