Ronald A. Goff

Ronald A. Goff, 79, of Washington, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 12, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 13, at the funeral home. Private family burial will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Mr. Goff was born Aug. 3, 1937, the son of Clarence and Alice B. (Wead) Goff in Washington.

He graduated from Washington High School in 1956 and attended Coe College. He lived most of his life in Washington and was a passionate man who enjoyed cars. He worked as the owner of Goff?s Real Estate in Washington until his retirement. In his spare time he enjoyed going to classic car shows, having coffee with friends, and watching TV. He was proud of his two sons. He was there to help his sons and friends with household projects, farm work, or whatever else they needed him for.

Surviving are two sons, Tim Goff of Bailey, Colorado, and Jim Goff of Washington; two granddaughters; two nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Alice Goff; and one brother, Dean Goff.
