Ronald D. Butterbaugh

      KALONA - Ronald D. Butterbaugh, 63, of Wellman, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at his home, following a brief illness.

      Services will begin at 9:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 17, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona with the Rev. Gene Carpenter officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 in the afternoon and 6 to 8 in the evening. A general memorial has been established.

      Mr. Butterbaugh was born Nov. 14, 1942, to Dairld and Yevonne "Bonnie" (Romine) Butterbaugh in Washington.

      He graduated from Mid-Prairie High School.

      Mr. Butterbaugh is survived by two sisters, Karen Brandt of Wellman and Juanita Kauffman of Washington, and one grandson.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Shawn Butterbaugh.
