Ronald Dean ?Moose? Whaley, 69, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21 at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant, with the family present from 3 to 5 p.m. The burial and committal service will be at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 22 at Forest Home Cemetery. Friends are welcome to attend the committal service. A memorial service will follow the committal at 10:30 a.m. at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel. Memorials have been established to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the Mt. Pleasant Athletic Boosters, and H2O.
