Ronald J. 'Ron' Krotz

      Ronald J. "Ron" Krotz, 65, of Washington, died Monday, Jan. 5, at his home of a heart attack. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 9 at United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Young officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday, Jan. 8 at Jones-Eden Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery.

      Mr. Krotz was born on April 28, 1938 at Washington County Hospital, to John and Leona (Zillmer) Krotz. He was a 1956 graduate of Washington High School. He also was graduated from American Institute of Business in Des Moines after serving two years in the U.S. Army. He later attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Tex., and he was married on July 2, 1972 in Beaumont, Tex.
