Ronald Nicholas “Nick” Hahn Jr., age 64, of Washington, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at his residence under hospice care.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dave Watson officiating. Calling hours will begin 4:00 p.m. Friday at the First Assembly of God Church where the family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Memorials have been established for the First Assembly of God Church or Hospice of Washington County.

Ron was born on November 10, 1961, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Ronald N. and Shirley E. (Bradshaw) Hahn Sr. He graduated from Washington High School in 1980 and served honorably in the United States Army for four years. Ron was united in marriage to Karen Glandon on December 30, 1984, in Washington, Iowa.
Ron retired from the Iowa City Post Office in 2023, after 28 years of service. He was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church where he served as a Deacon and was on the Worship Team. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, loved watching NASCAR, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, and son, Cody, both of Washington, Iowa; sister, Cathy Lomen of Dubuque, Iowa; sister, Crystal (Pat) Davis of Brackettville, Texas; brother, Tony (Janet) Hahn of Hooppole, Illinois; brother, Randy (Chris) Hahn of DeWitt, Iowa; sister-in-law, Indah Hahn of North Liberty, Iowa; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Paul Hahn and John Hahn.
