Ronald Steven Pulse, 68,

of Mt. Pleasant passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020,

at his home in Mt. Pleasant.

Ronald was born April 27, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Clarence and Anna (Walker) Pulse. Ron owned Pulse Auto Salvage in Rome, Iowa, for 44 years. Ron enjoyed working on race cars and supporting local race car drivers. He was a longtime member of the Mt. Pleasant Moose Lodge.

He is survived by two children, Julie Warner Galesburg, Ill., and Adam Pulse (Cheryl) Chicago, Ill.; and four grandchildren, Kalyn and Brady Warner and Ethan and Lilly Pulse.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

According to his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Private family graveside service will be held in Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
