Ronda Lynn Snelling, age 65, of Keosauqua, Iowa, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2024. As were her wishes her body has been cremated. A memorial service in her honor will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 11, 2024, at the Cranston Family Funeral Home in Keosauqua, IA. Ronda was born on November 11, 1958, in the heart of Iowa and was a graduate of Fairfield High School. She worked at Chain and Cable in Fairfield and Jefferson County Hospital, where she worked as a housekeeper. Her faith was a cornerstone of her existence; she was baptized at Center Chapel and found joy in attending "Walk to Emmaus," which deepened her Christian faith and fellowship.

Known for her love of nature, Ronda was an avid mushroom hunter and delighted in the simple pleasures of life. Her collections of angels and jewelry reflected her appreciation of beauty. Music brought great joy to Ronda and she was a dedicated caretaker to many grateful felines who found sanctuary on her back porch.

Ronda's kindness touched countless lives. She is survived by her family and many friends, who will remember her as someone who truly never met a stranger.
