Rooda Ness Fertig, 87, of Aplington, formerly of Washington, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, at Maple Manor Village in Aplington.
No services are planned. Linn's Funeral Homes in Iowa Falls is handling arrangements. A general memorial has been established.
Mrs. Fertig was born March 13, 1918, in Vinton, to Haness and Catherine (Rood) Ness. She married Howard Fertig in 1942, in Galena, Ill.
