Rosalyn H. Leonard

Rosalyn H. "Roz" Leonard, 88, of West Burlington, died Saturday, May 17, at Arbor Court in Mt. Pleasant.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 22 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington. A rosary will be recited at 5 p.m., followed by a Christian Wake service, after which the family will receive friends until 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 23 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Patrick Hilgendorf officiating. The Des Moines County Resurrection Choir will provide the music. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

Memorials have been established for Birthright of Burlington, Arbor Court Care Center and Hospice of Central Iowa.

She was born Jan. 1, 1920, in Pittsburgh, Penn., the daughter of Harry and Eleanor Cousins Hines. On Nov. 15, 1947, she married Frank Leonard in Pittsburgh.
