Roscoe E. Calloway March 15, 1912 - September 24, 2003

      Roscoe E. Calloway, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, at Park Place Long Term Care Unit in Mt. Pleasant.

      The memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Olson Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant. Burial with full military rites by the Henry County Honor Guard will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at the chapel with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established for Park Place.

      Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Ann Calloway Smith and her husband Roger of Burlington; a son, Bill and his wife Carol Calloway of Cedar Rapids; a daughter-in-law; nine grandchildren; and two brothers, Rex Calloway and Ron Calloway, both of Franklin, N.C.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, R Michael Calloway.
