Rose Ann Schillerstrom, 77, of Fairfield, passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, at Sunnybrook Living Care Center.
Prayers for a Christian wake will be 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, prior to the visitation at St Mary Catholic Church. Visitation for family and friends will be 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be
10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at
St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Henricksen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn, Fairfield, Iowa.

Rose was born Jan. 11, 1942, to Chester Frank and Emilia Marie (Peck) Mosinski in Pleasant Plain. She married Jerry Joseph Schillerstrom on Nov. 9, 1963. They celebrated 51 years of marriage before he passed away May 7, 2015.
Rose graduated from FHS with the Class of 1960. After Rose and Jerry got married, she helped him on the farm. Some of the organizations Rose was a member of was St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Mary Church Funeral Dinner Committee for more than 20 years, Heritage Travel Club, Libertyville Travelers Club, Pork Producers and Beef Producers. During the State Fair, she worked in the Pork Producers tent. She loved gardening and going camping at Lake Darling State Park.
Left to share her memory are her two daughters, Sherri (Craig) Mineart of Brighton, Iowa, and Amy (Rob) Hoskins of Richland, Iowa; four grandchildren, Sophia Mineart, Joshua Mineart, Brittany Hoskins and Brandon Hoskins; one brother, Harold Mosinski of Fairfield; one sister, Mary (Larry) Sobaski of Packwood; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Mosinski of Packwood and Coe Ann Mosinski of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Emilia; her husband, Jerry; two brothers, Richard Mosinski and Leonard Mosinski; sister-in-law, Roberta Mosinski; and nephew, Andy Sobaski.
