Rose M. Rambo, 91 of Libertyville, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at her home.

Graveside service will be

1 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery with Chaplain Jason Crandell officiating.

A memorial has been established with cards and memorials mailed to Rose Mary Fritts, 205 West Maple, Libertyville, IA 52567.

Rose was born August 18, 1930, in Fairfield to Kenneth and Eva Marie (Boughner) Hootman. She married David C Rambo Sr. on September 14, 1947, in Fairfield. They were blessed to be married 44 years before he passed away on July 19, 1991.

Rose worked as a cook at Stever House, Nelson's Nursing Home, K&C Cafe and Libertyville Quick Stop. She enjoyed going to garage sales, gardening, baking pies and listening to country music. Most important was spending time with her family, friends and her dog "Daisey." Rose attended the Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville.

Rose will be missed by her children, Connie, Colleen, Edna, Dave and Rosemary; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Eva Marie; husband, Dave; two sons, Ronnie and Jerome; and her siblings, Dick, Carol, Bev, Dwayne and Charles "Sonny."
