Rowena Margaret Myers

      Rowena Margaret Myers, 89, of Washington, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      Funeral services have been set for 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, at United Methodist Church in Washington, with the Rev. Don Hodson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Primghar, at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25. Visitation will be Sunday, from noon to 6 p.m., at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, with family receiving friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Halcyon House Good Samaritan Fund or United Methodist Church.

      Mrs. Myers was born on Feb. 14, 1914, in Primghar, to Hugh Earnest and Nettie (Wood) Brown. She married Charles Goodell on June 16, 1937, in Primghar. He preceded her in death in 1972. She married Thurlowe "Dutch" E. Myers on Oct. 15, 1977.
