Roy Dale Voorhees
AMES ? Roy Dale Voorhees, 88, of Ames, died Sunday, May 24, 2009, in Ames.
The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held in Washington at a later date. Adams Funeral Home in Ames is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames or the Van Voorhees Fund.
Mr. Voorhees was born on March 21, 1921 in West Chester, the son of Carl G. and Margaret (Bauer) Voorhees. He married Mary Peck on Sept. 10, 1942.
