Roy H. Ford

Roy H. Ford, 91, longtime Milton resident, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Crestview Manor in Crestview, Fla. 

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial, with military rites by American Legion Russell-Strait Post, will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton.

Family visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials to the Russell-Strait Post may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 4129 Millside Road, Laurel Hill, FL 32567.

Mr. Ford was born Jan. 6, 1920, in Moravia, the son of Harry Howard and Goldie P. Knapp Ford. He married Clarice Rosemary Lancaster in November 1958 in Ottumwa. She died May 16, 2010.

Survivors include one son, Martin Ford of Cherry Valley Ark.; one daughter, Deborah S. T,homas and husband Dean of Laurel Hill, Fla.; one brother, Rex Ford of Ottumwa; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
