Ruby L. Dorothy

      MT. PLEASANT - Ruby L. Dorothy, 70, of Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield.

      Funeral services will begin at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 10, 2005, in Ollie Baptist Church in Ollie, with the Rev. Connie Chatier and the Rev. Charles Comfort officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Burial of the cremains will be in Spencer Cemetery in Stockport. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m., Saturday, at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Memorials have been arranged for Ollie Baptist Church and Hospice of Central Iowa.

      Mrs. Dorothy was born June 17, 1934, in Garden Grove to Forrest Roy and Ruby (Phipps) Snyder. She married Richard G. Dorothy on Nov. 1, 1953, in Danville.
