Russell K. Remick, 65, of rural Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at 10 a.m at the Sharon Presbyterian Church in rural Farmington. Rev. Daniel Hemken and Rev. David Doerr officiated.
Burial was in Salem East Cemetery. Friends called from noon to 7 p.m. on Monday Jan. 1, 2007 at the Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, where the family was present from 5 to 7 p.m.
Memorials have been established to the Hillsboro Fire and First Responders or to the Salem East Cemetery.
