Russell Lamont Gnagey

KALONA ? Russell Lamont Gnagey, 84, of Wellman, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, in the Parkview Home in Wellman following a short illness.

    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Fairview Mennonite Church in rural Kalona. Burial will follow in the Fairview Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for the Fairview Church.

    Mr. Gnagey was born Dec. 17, 1925, in Parnell, the son of Jonas D. and Gertrude (Bender) Gnagey. He married Lydia Helmuth on Oct. 11, 1953, at the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church.
