Russell R. Petro July 11, 1978 - June 2004
Russell R. Petro, 25, of Mt. Pleasant, died unexpectedly at his apartment.
No formal visitation or memorial service is planned. The body has been cremated. Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his father and his companion, Julie Moorehead of Winfield; his mother of Chariton; a brother, Charles Thomas Petro II of Clarinda; two sisters, Jeanine Thomas of Mt. Pleasant, and April Petro of Knoxville; his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Wade of Bethlehem; and his maternal grandfather, Cobb Freeman of Des Moines.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather.
