Russell Winborn
KALONA - Russell Winborn, 86, of Kalona, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, of a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Sharon Center United Methodist Church in rural Kalona with the Rev. Doug Cue officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona.
Mr. Winborn was born Dec. 14, 1921, the son of John T. and Mabel (Schwimley) Winborn at Sharon Center. He was married on Nov. 20, 1942, in the church parsonage.
