Ruth A. Townsend
DURANT-Ruth A. Townsend, 83, of Bettendorf, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at Trinity North Medical Center in Davenport.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 15, at 10:30 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church in Wilton, with the Rev. Kenneth Harden, the Rev. Bruce Giese, and the Rev. Troy Winder officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Wilton. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Bentley Funeral Homes in Wilton. Extended visitation will be on Friday, one hour prior to services, at the church. Memorials may be directed to Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church or Bettendorf Presbyterian Church.
