Ruth Ann Adam

      KEOTA - Ruth Ann Adam, 72, of Muscatine, formerly of Harper, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at Riverbend Nursing and Rehab Center in Muscatine, following a lengthy illness.

      A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 16, at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota, with the Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Harper. There will be no public visitation. Powell Funeral Home in Keota is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be directed to Holy Trinity Parish or Hospice.

      Miss Adam was born on July 18, 1932, in rural Harper, to Peter J. and Pearl Adam. She moved to Muscatine in 2003. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota.
