Ruth B. Rauscher August 2, 1917 - February 29, 2004

Ruth Belle Rauscher, 86, of Lockridge, died Feb. 29, 2004 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 3 at the First Augustana Lutheran Church in Lockridge with the Rev. David Franker officiating. Burial will be in the Glasgow Cemetery. A family visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lockridge First Responders, Glasgow Cemetery or the First Augustana Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Fred and his wife Joyce Rauscher and Bill and his wife Cindy Rauscher all of Lockridge; two daughters, Christine Rauscher of Barrington, Ill., Mary Rauscher of Iowa City; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Howard Wayne Bower.
