Ruth Bloom, 79, of Brooklyn, N.Y. died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000, at her home.
The funeral service was held at Midwood Funeral Home in Brooklyn with Rabbi T. Fried officiating. Burial was at Beth Moses Cemetery on Long Island, N.Y.
Mrs. Bloom was born April 4, 1920, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Nathan and Becky Bauman. She married Leonard Bloom on Aug. 25, 1944.
Survivors include three sons, David Bloom of Mt. Pleasant, Steven Bloom of Clifton, N.J., and Burt Bloom of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers; and one sister.
