Ruth E. Anderson
Ruth E. Anderson, 87, of Park Place in Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Des Moines, died at 9:55 a.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Park Place Care Center.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Dr. Jerry Kelly officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Weir and Kimzey Funeral Home. The family will be present from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church.
A memorial has been established for Iowa Wesleyan College.
Born Oct. 13, 1918, in Wayland, she was the daughter of David and Lavina Roth Meyer.
