Ruth E. Boyer

Ruth E. Boyer, 94, of Donnellson Health Care Center, died at 1:40 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at the center.

      The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8 at Hofbauer-Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson, with the Rev. Judy Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in Embury Cemetery in Donnellson. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7 and 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8 at the funeral home, with family present from 1 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A memorial has been established to the Donnellson Public Library.

Survivors include two sons, Delbert Boyer of Donnellson, and Dale Boyer of Carrollton, Ohio; 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Velma Kimbrell of Las Vegas.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, a son, a grandson, a great-great-grandchild, three brothers and two sisters.
