Ruth E. Thompson

Ruth E. Thompson, 90, of Fort Madison formerly of Mt. Hamill, died at 10:40 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2006, at the Fort Madison Community Hospital.

      Visitation will be from 2 - 7 p.m. Sunday at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson with the family present from 2-4 p.m.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Fr. Thomas Parlette officiating. Burial will be in the Clay Grove Cemetery near West Point.

      Memorials may be made to the Clay Grove Cemetery or the Fort Madison Health Center.

      Mr. Thompson born Dec. 29, 1915, at Unionville, Mo., the daughter of Silas and Laura Roush Choate. On June 11, 1932, in Unionville, she married Fredric C. Thompson. He preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 1970.
