Ruth Elizabeth Kovar

Ruth Elizabeth Kovar, 87, of Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Washington, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, in the Pikes Peak Care Center following an extended illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19, in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington with the rev. Darryl Carr officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will be present to receive friends. A general memorial fund has been established.

      Mrs. Kovar was born Aug. 13, 1920, in Washington, the daughter of Will and Matilda (Hildebrand) Wenger. She married Ned Joseph Kovar in 1946 in Washington.
